Have you ever heard of a beef allergy?

My dd is just 19 months but is allergic to eggs, all nuts, milk, and now beef. I knew she had a sensitivity to beef since she always threw up when I gave her some but the other day her father gave her steak against my advisement and it was the worst reaction I have seen by far. Her lips swelled up and she had a hard time breathing. Now I have to carry an epi pen everywhere I go. But could someone really be THIS allergic to beef?? Her father also used a marinade that I dug out of the trash and on the bottom of the ingredient list it said it could contain anchovies. But, I'm not so sure since she has always thrown up with beef prior to that only cooked with salt and pepper so I know she has some sensivity to beef. But I can't believe my daughter is allergic to beef of all things! Anyone heard of this? Oh yeah, and her dumb *** father is always giving food thats on her allergy list, how would you handle that?
