I opened the front door to my house. I had just got back from college. And it was absolutely freezing out side. The sun had gone down and it was only 4pm.it was really dark outside and the rain was pouring down as if someone had just switched the tap on. Well anyway I was now in my cosy house away from the brutal weather but I could still hear the thundering outside.. As I walked in the sitting room the fire was lit and flames were dancing away. The room was really hot. I took my drenched coat off and hanged it up on the staircase. I thought about going sleep but I decided to have a shower before I went sleep. I ran up the stairs and ran in to the shower. After a nice hot shower walked down the stairs and switched the TV on. My favourite programme was on deal or no deal. As I lay next to the fire place I fell asleep unaware that the tree outside had just been hit by lighting.
