OMG HELP ME NEED ADVICE MORE THAN ANYTHING !!!!?

kso, i started dating this guy, then people started telling me hes cheater&hes gunna cheat on me &stuff.. Then i wasnt gunna start to like him alot until i knew forsure if he was serious . Then a few days later one of my bestfriends sent me a text saying that he was telling one of his exes he loved &missed her. So then i flipped and completly didnt trust him nomore. His cousin said that he didnt say it &so did he, but i didnt know what to believe. So i told him i couldnt go out with someone i couldnt trust. Now the last few days he has people telling me hes not like that and his ex was lying and stuff .. and he wants a second chance. Most my close friends are telling me not to. But hes making me feeel sooo bad. Now one of my bestfriends has a friend that wants a date. I want to but, it will just make me feel even worse. &i dont think i like this guy that much anymore either especially since i heard all that stuff. What should i do ?!
