Gta vice city stories mission for lance????helpppp...?

k im stuck on doing the mission for lance calledd light something pyro? idk but i cant beat it cuz everytime i go to help lance he is like already lost some of his life or more.. and is way ahead. how do i beat this mission???????? helpp please && thank you... =]
